Rive Gauche is a quiet, hushed wine. All the signatures are present, but the 2016 speaks with decidedly soft voice. Dried pear, Mirabelle plum, spice, cedar, and crushed flowers all open over time. I would prefer to drink the 2016 sooner rather than later, as it is a touch soft.
